We are an indigenous medical research and care organization in existence since 1988, located on Upper Mulago Hill in Kampala.  MU-JHU is a key player in contributor to new knowledge in HIV prevention, care, and treatment, community HIV programs as well as non-HIV research, and training. We envision a Uganda where all women, children, adolescents, and their families enjoy full health and wellbeing. Our mission is to be a Centre of excellence in health research, and care for women, adolescents, children, and their families. ​
